Our Story

MacEwan Associates was born in 1998 to support small to medium size businesses with food safety and technical issues. Since then the company has grown to provide support across all sectors of the Scottish Food industry. Over the last ten years MacEwan Associates has moved in to the Scottish Packaging sector and now offers support to businesses looking to achieve BRGS Standard in Food and Packaging.

From the early days, the business has also worked very closely with the Edinburgh organisation Tfc Scotland Ltd. Relationship, which spans more than 20 years, means we have trained hundreds of care workers in food safety and food hygiene across the Lothians and Scotland. Through this working relationship we came to develop infection control courses along with offering advice on infection control and food safety advice to Care Homes, Nursing Homes, and Care in the Community organisations across Scotland.

MacEwan Associates is also a registered training provider of REHIS (Royal Environmental Health Institute Scotland) and offers a range of courses suitable for the food, packaging and care sectors.
